What happens next?Posted: January 22, 2010 by waiting to exale
Thank God for freedom of expression. I can write and I hope it will eliviate some of the pressure. Just one week ago my home of 30 years was sold to an investor, thank God for our American way of living. I cannot fathom how many homes are being disrupted and their homes put on an auction block. Our minds are much more important, and I believe that our right to pursuit of happiness has been very much affected. For over thirty years I have seen how banks have no empathy for homeowners. These are homes not houses. I have worked as a realestate agent for the 22 years and have always said that I sell homes not houses. Real people live inside these homes. America goes abroad to give millions of dollars which I dont see anything wrong with but are destroying as each day goes by the American dream. What has caused this. G R E E D. There are many options and avenues banks can take but they wont even take the OBAMA way. I pray constantly for all the families affected by this injustice. Money is not the root of all evil it is the individual who doesnt see more than what benefits him at the moment. I have lived in my home for the past 30 years, raised 4 children, and the last 12 years divorced. One of my children is in the military, 2 have graduated from college, and the other went to culuniary institute for 18 months and is now working. I am presently finishing a BA in psychology. With all this pressure I thank God I have been able to go on. My home means the world to me, I will not stop until I get an option or someone who will help me stay in my home. It is life's security where one lives. I challenge many to make statements, not in anger but with a right to pursuit what every American wants, a place to call home. Thank you for the opportunity to write. If not anything else, I thank God for the freedom to live and pray that I can find someone or a foundation that will open up the door to have my home. I believe in a living God who hears prays. God bless all of you. Thanks again for letting me express myself.
